It features a reinforced lid and an ergonomic lock knob for increased security, gear protection, and easier opening and closing. It attaches to all Thule load bars, round bars, and most factory racks.
Shaped with an aerodynamic design to effectively reduce wind drag and improve fuel economy, this Spirit 1600 has a metallic silver finish and is constructed of ultra-strong and UV resistant ABS plastic. The dual-side opening enables you to access luggage and cargo from either side of your car. An undercut rear tail provides good clearance and allows you to fully open up your car's rear hatch fully.
In addition to a reinforced lid, the cargo box also offers lid lifters for smooth and easy one-handed opening and closing. Measuring 90.5 x 32.7 x 13.2 inches (exterior dimensions) and offering a 16 cubic foot capacity, it can hold up to 8 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards. The Quick-Grip mounting system makes it easy to mount this box on your current rack. And the SecureLock system ensures your gear is safe and the box is properly closed before you start driving.
